As Community Manager at OneEleven, my job is all about building relationships with top players in the Toronto tech and startup ecosystem. That’s why I was thrilled to be offered a spot for Brainstation’s upcoming Digital Marketing course as part of their ambassador program.
The course stands out as a great opportunity to hone in on my digital marketing skills and dive deeper into the world of branding & strategy, community & social media management, e-mail marketing, analytics and SEO.
Managing OneEleven’s social channels and weekly newsletter, I’m particularly interested in learning about new trends and what it takes to stand out digitally:
- Are there any up and coming channels that we can leverage to market our tech startup accelerator?
- What does it take to build and execute a successful branding strategy?
- How can we best analyze data and improve our digital marketing efforts as a brand?
- Who are some of the top influencers and key players in Toronto’s digital marketing space?
In addition to acquiring applicable skills and knowledge, I look forward to meeting other professionals in the digital marketing field. I strongly believe that sharing best practices and learning from one another is one of the best ways to grow professionally. Building relationships online and offline is crucial, especially in the Toronto tech community
During the ten-week course, I’ll hopefully learn a whole lot, work on hands-on projects, be part of interesting discussions, meet awesome new people and talk a lot of tech!
