Just two weeks left until your course is complete! What new knowledge have you found has had the greatest impact on you?

I have found the design process has helped me a lot at work, especially when dealing with UX projects. When I first started working on UX projects, I just jumped right into the solution without thinking more thoroughly about the problems. My head was filled with lots of ideas. However, I didn’t know how to pick the best solution for users. The design process has definitely guided me to come up with better solutions.

Can we get a sneak peek at your final project?

I have been focusing a lot on researching the problems and only been working on the workflow and sitemap so far. So, unfortunately, I don’t have any pretty screenshots I can share with you at the moment. But they are coming along!

Now that you’ve all been learning together for 8 weeks, what is the classroom experience like?

The classroom experience is nice, laid back, and chill. Everyone is very helpful and very willing to share new ideas and provide feedback to one another.

What have you found to be the most rewarding? Most challenging?

The most rewarding part so far has been watching everything come together from just an idea early in the course to a final product.

The most challenging part has been finding the time to work on my project every week. Since I am a UI designer and constantly work alongside UX designers and Product Designers on wireframes, I want to do anything but UX in my spare time. However, working on my project and seeing everything coming together has become my motivation!! 🙂

What are your goals for your final two weeks of the course?

Get everything together for this tight deadline!!
