Week 2, I arrived after a long day and a sleep deprived night before, and was anticipating having a difficult time concentrating little did I know, going to class was just what I needed.
When I walked into the room, I was greeted by one of our instructors, Justin (super friendly and easy to talk to), and we struck up a conversation about what we were going to discuss in class. It happened to be a topic I was challenged with at work that day and we were about to dissect and learn more about it. My attention was peaked. The class was well taught, interactive, and energizing. I liked being able to follow along on the pre-made slides in our portal and the activities proved to be educational and fun. We were doing personas, and there were some great contributions the group who presented was hilarious and on-point.
During the activities, instructors came around to each group to expand on what we were doing and help think outside the box. Both instructors, Justin and Andrea are very knowledgeable and have a pulse on what’s happening in the digital world now not a year or 6 months ago. Having instructors that are working in the field was a deciding factor when I joined the course and they have exceeded my exceptions.
Before I knew it, the class flew by. I left feeling more energized and excited about my job than I have in months.
It’s safe to say, joining BrainStation was a great choice.
