Just two weeks left until your course is complete! What new knowledge have you found has had the greatest impact on you?
We just completed the Social Media classes. This is knowledge I can bring back and apply directly to my current role so it’s been great to see a lot of what I learned be put into action and already eliciting results.
Can we get a sneak peek at your final project?
My group has a final meeting this week where we will pull all of our individual work together and start ‘pretty-fying’ our presentation. Don’t want to give away too much but here’s a look at one of our user persona’s (inspired by Gwyneth Paltrow):
Now that you’ve all been learning together for 8 weeks, what is the classroom experience like?
I’ve really enjoyed getting to know all the interesting people in class as well as the course instructors. Everyone brings something different and unique to class. It’s been really cool to see the diverse ways digital marketing can be applied and the different directions it can take your career.
What have you found to be the most rewarding? Most challenging?
Most rewarding thing is seeing our final project coming together. It seemed like an overwhelming task on Week #1 but, as the weeks pass and we learn more and more, the pieces of the presentation are evolving. Looking back now it’s amazing how much we’ve been able to learn in 2 short months. The most challenging thing is having to learn so much in two short months. Trying to retain all the information is tough and definitely requires some extra work outside of class time.
What are your goals for your final two weeks of the course?
My goal is to see the presentation turn into a polished final product and to hopefully consolidated a lot of the info we’ve been learning.
