Why Learn to Code?
I’ve always had an interest in building and creating new things and web development has provided me with a creative outlet. I want to further my programming knowledge by learning front-end development at a more advanced level. I’m choosing to pursue a career in technology because I believe that web development and programming will become increasingly important skills in the future. One of the most significant reasons for learning to code is that I want to be part of an industry that is constantly evolving. I don’t ever want to stop learning.
I started learning to program on my own during my MA in Psychology. After completing graduate school, I began a degree in Computer Science at Western University but quickly realized I wasn’t learning relevant skills that I could apply in the real world. BrainStation’s curriculum is geared toward teaching very relevant skills in an efficient and effective way.
